City Manager

Brent Kirk is the current City Manager and Public Works Director.  He was initially hired by the City in 2009 as Public Works Supervisor. In 2012 he became the Public Works Director and in 2014 he took on additional duties as the City's first City Administrator.  In 2016 the City changed it's governance structure from a Strong Mayor to a Manager - Council form of government and Mr. Kirk became the City's first City Manager, overseeing the executive branch of government. 
He truly loves Granite Falls and takes pride in the progress that the City has made over the past 15+ years to support the growing needs of the community while retaining the small town feel that residents cherish in the area.
